Really clean and organized. Staff were really friendly. Produce selection was amazing, and the wine variety was expansive, cheapest was $20 and the most expensive was $370. I was astonished, I've never seen wine so expensive in person before. It was locked in a cabinet for obvious reasons. The flowers were healthy and had a wide variety. Checkout was quick. Bathrooms were clean, awkward location, had to ask for help twice to find them, but not an issue.

One of the most beautiful grocery store i have ever shopped in. The produce was so fresh and beautiful. And pretty much there is anything you may want in this store.

I wouldn't normally bother to rate a grocery store but this place was kinda cool as far as grocery stores go. Jam packed with a ton of options. Unexpected for an island store where you would think inventory would be limited. They were really busy but handled the lines quickly.

Great store for the island. Large variety of options for one of the only stores on Vashon. Good produce, deli, bakery, and aisles.

Never was there ever a day in my life as a long time islander that Vashon Thriftway has failed me. If ever Thriftway fell short of my expectations it was because I was holding on to the uncreative expectations of a sourgrass desolate soul of dystopiairica.

I lost my purse. I knew not where. (Vashon, somewhere) Sarah was in customer service, she answered my phone (thank goodness) and told my son to "tell Wendy her phone is at Thriftway". My son was calling my phone in case it was within hearing to help me find it in the car. I drove to Thriftway, retrieved it from customer service and Sarah offered to help me fix an aspect of the "smart" phone that was not working. Now......THAT is customer service.

Ironically, this is the best place on the island to get a risotto espresso. And I really searched around. Do you have to go on the weekend and there’s a tall slender guy named Gavin that might be the best barista on the whole island. Well worth going out of your way to get an espresso in a little paper cup because it’s a perfect ristretto

Just love this store. It has everything I need and want. Great selection of organic produce as well. Their ready to cook meat selections are excellent when you’re in a hurry. And, their freshly ground peanut butter is the best ever. I feel fortunate that there’s such a nice place to shop on Vashon.
